VSA 2020 Summer Camp Information

Hello VSA families.

I am happy to report that the first camps are underway, and we are back on the pitch offering soccer to the Valley.

First of all, thank you to those parents that have entrusted us with their children, and have had patience with us as we have implemented the necessary precautions to return to play.

Moving forward, our next camp will start in just under two weeks, it will be four weeks long and twice a week for particular groups.

At the beginning of the next camp we will be starting in Phase 2 of SSA’s Return to Play Plan. What Phase 2 means, is that we are finally allowed to have minimal contact which includes

1 vs 1 and 3 vs 3. In addition, goaltending and live shooting on a real goalie will also be allowed. So basically, it will be like a normal practice, with some small sided scrimmages.

Our hope is that we will be able to offer a third camp at the end of August, that will be a jamboree style fun tournament, details of which we are still working on.

As always, spaces are limited, and early registration will be offered to those that have signed up in previous camps.
